It may not technically be a scam, but it's too close for comfort for my taste. If I ever see someone spamming something like that in town, I make sure to fire off a Local chat message letting people know they can get a 1k salvage kit for five. Hopefully, the more people that are aware of this this trick, the harder it will be for people to do this.

Yeah the amount of gold is cheap, but that is not the point.

Okay, I'm running down a crowded sidewalk with a knife and someone gets stabbed. "Oh, my it isn't my fault, they knew I had a knife."
since when is 50 virtual gold coins actually compared enough to someone being stabbed. Stop being so petty, things like wiki are here for players its their fault if they do not look this up. When I first played factions I looked for what those things did.

btw this is price gouging not scamming nothing wrong with it scamming is ripping off the person by changing the deal you BOTH agreed with without the buyers knowledge or wish and vice versa with the seller.

Wow people trying to pass it off as "clever"

The word you should be using is "unscrupulous". Ripping people off.

Well, I better get banned for scamming. Back in the day, I bought wood from people, made parchment, and made a profit off of it. OMG, liek I r teh hax.

Seriously, this thread just won't die, and neither will the flames. Closed.
